Original artwork description:

Watercolor Painting inspired in my home country Perú. This illustration portrays a female character dressed in Peruvian- inspired textiles and accessories: a reference to traditional folkloric dances and pre-hispanic iconography.
Full on vibrant colors, this painting also makes a nod to the concept of identity, with a zoomorphic- styled mask that represents my own questions of self: expression, nature and discovery.

Materials used:

Watercolors, gouache and pencil colors on cotton paper.
