✒︎ For the last 10 years I've been moving a lot. From one apartment to another, from one city to another, from a country to another country. What I can do best is to clarify what I want and need in my life at present and to foresee what I will need for the future. That is why it is not very hard for me to decide to move somewhere in order to adapt my surroundings to myself and to adapt myself to it, becoming lighter and more flexible. The main sign that prompts me to do that is the perspective that doesn't satisfy me anymore. It may be a perspective view from the window at my studio where I paint or a feeling of perspective in my life. The distance, physically or in thoughts, allows me to view everything in a more imaginative way. Suddenly the mind is aware of those considerations that were previously ignored, and vice versa - those facts that should be ignored.
Finally, when the focus is wide enough, it lets me see the whole picture. ©
