Original artwork description:

This artwork is an original, one-off work by the artist.

This work explores the meaning of symbols, and in particular, the symbolism often used in art. In particular, in this work, the semaphores are abstract elements that evoke an emotional feeling, with most people a similar emotional response can be experienced. However, abstract art more than figurative art is subjective and to a very large extent produces a personal semiology. Painted in the style of abstract expressionism with impasto layers.

I like using acrylics as the colours blend so well together.

This work is UNFRAMED and was painted on Hahnemühle Etching Paper 300gsm Warm White, with dimensions 78 × 110 × 0.3 cm (unframed). The frame is NOT included and is just for illustrative purposes.

This work was created on the 10th of November 2018.

In my paintings, I use the finest quality professional Liquitex acrylic paints, gallery canvas. The painting was sprayed with a glaze of varnish.

A Certificate of Authenticity with hologram - verification is attached to the image.

FRAMED AND INTERIOR IMAGES
In the photos, where the painting is shown mounted on a wall, these are purely for illustrative purposes. You should review the dimension of the artwork to be sure the work suits your needs. In the case when a painting is sold without a frame, of course, you can add a frame of your choosing and so it will add to the overall dimensions.

It is possible to have the work framed - the framing price can be provided on the application., but a very large fame like is would be AUD$500.
