Original artwork description:

This is an original painting of early autumn in the Georgian countryside. Martkopi, where I painted this landscape, is a village not far from Tbilisi. We were visiting our friend there, who is a famous winemaker. I was absolutely enchanted by the traditional Georgian village situated on hills of different levels. It was in October and the grass was still there, but the trees were already bare, and only the orange persimmons were well visible among the bare branches and the blue sky. Painted on a gallery wrapped canvas with the edges painted white, it comes ready to hang. It is signed in front with my initials in Georgian "Z" "Sh" (ზ.შ.).
