I love peonies and always try to grow several different varieties in my garden. This pastel painting is of three 'Bowl of Beauty peonies' - they are the ones that are a Japanese form of peony flowers with showy puffs of ivory center petals and gently cupped pink outer guard petals. The contrasting colors and forms add to their charm.
This painting is framed with an off-white mount and an oak frame.
