Artwork description:

This Linocut was inspired by my sighting of a peregrine falcon near York Minster. It was hunting some unfortunate pigeons nearby.
This handmade print has been created using two printing plates and has been printed onto acid free, 180gsm saxton paper made by the Frogmore mill. The paper has a lovely texture and may have characteristic flecks here and there.
The printing ink is a specialist oil-based product. The print is handmade on my etching press which means all prints vary in texture and so are unique. Some small details are hand coloured using a water based medium.
This is one of a limited edition of 95 and each print is numbered and signed.

Please note the actual image size is 30 X 22 cm but the paper size is 40 X 30 cm giving a border of approximately 5 cm around each side of the image to enable you to frame the image as you wish. I would always advise to include a cardboard window mount under the frame to keep the artwork away from the glass.

The prints sold unframed and are wrapped in cellophane and shipped in a sturdy envelope, stiffened with cardboard.
