Perception 31x54 acrylic on canvas. _x000D_ I imagine most portrait painters are obsessed with faces, and I am no exception. This painting is partly about that. That and also perception and interpretation of facial expressions communications of humanity happen because the facial expression doesn’t match the word. _x000D_ This is unstretched canvas. The framer should attach to backboard when framing. I’m a London-based artist, and my work often reflects vivid and surreal imagery inspired by my unique experience with REM intrusion—a condition where dream-like visions can appear while I’m awake. My paintings explore the boundary between waking reality and the dream world, using layered compositions to create a sense of depth and movement. I paint with high-quality materials and put a lot of thought into texture and detail. My process is a mix of intuitive brushwork and deliberate layering, aiming to create pieces that are rich in emotion and invite you to see something new each time you look at them.
