Like a cool breath on crisp morning air, they find themselves wrapped in Peppermint. Beautifully dressed in candied stripes, the Mother/Daughter warm themselves with Feuerzangenbowle and Gleuhwein as they stroll the Christmas markets. They are in search of the Tannenbaum, a 'Brides's Tree', so that their packaged ornaments, special and carefully chosen, can be hung, ensuring a better life for her married daughter.
I believe in broken molds and creative chances. I paint in the Intuitive and love to mix patterns, drips and color with intention. I find acrylics in all forms to be a happy medium.
The Intuitive painting process is a very unique way for creating. The canvas is submerged in an array of markings, doodles, drips, stencling, and acrylic paint. All of these moments allow for creative opportunities. Once I sit down to paint, the canvas pulls me in the direction it wants to go. I do some intention setting with color, and imagery, but in the end, I am always surprised where the canvas leads. Each painting is truly one of a kind, it would be impossible to replicate the happenstance of the markings and the Artist that I come to the canvas as, is never the same from day to day.
