About the drawing:
Spray paint and rollerball pen on 250gsm cartridge paper.
14 x 14 cm
Signed and dated 2015 on the reverse
Sold unframed, sent flat between cardboard.

About the series:
First I place an empty paint can in the centre of the paper. Next I spray around it with black spray paint using a variety of spitting and fading techniques. I create a whole stack of these backgrounds and once they're dry I take them to a public place where I sit and observe the people that walk by, using them to inspire the characters I build into the circle templates.

The first 16 of this series are being displayed in my upcoming solo exhibition and the remainder are being made for sale via my online shops.
