acrylic color on handmade thai mulberry paper(kada sa), deckled edged,8 x 11 in., 20 x 28 cm.
This one is something that happened on the spur of the moment. While working on some other projects I found an old page with a rough outline of a couple people, there was a wet brush in my hands, and that set the course for this painting.
I used a traditional mulberry paper handmade in Thailand. It’s a parchment like paper, strong yet pliable. I have the paper made to this size to get the deckled edges which adds to the textural effect. Note the unbleached, off white nature of this paper.
The close up picture is to get a feel for the texture and brush strokes of the painting. Then there’s the work in nprogress.
Please note that you can purchase up to 3 paintings of this same size or smaller in 1 order to be included in the same 1 shipping fee.
Packaging for my small paintings like this one is sealed in plastic sleeve, sealed in a padded hard plastic file case, and in an envelope.

About framing this painting.
When considering framing bear in mind to not cover up the deckled edges. This is one of the specialties of the painting, one of its charms. It is best displayed framed with a cut mat board around the painting so as not to cover the edges, thereby putting some space between the art and the glass and bringing depth to the framed art. It can also be framed simply with backing board and pressed with glass over the front without causing damage.
Please note that you can purchase in one order up to 3paintings of this same size or smaller in one order to be included in the same 1 shipping fee.
