Original artwork description:

This is a pastel still life artwork of Peonies and red and yellow Peppers on a patterned ceramic blue plate. It is a colourful still life drawn in a contemporary style. I have used for the background a red patterned cloth which picks up the red in the peppers and chillies. It is an unframed artwork using pastels which have been fixed but needs framing under glass. It is part of a series of still lifes using the blue plate as a central theme. The pastels are from the Henri Roche range ( in Paris) which are among the best you can buy and I have used Archival pastel paper which is acid free. This pastel artwork comes with a certificate of Authenticity.
