I love peonies, they’re my absolute favorite flowers to paint. I did a series of over twenty paintings when these gorgeous flowers were in season.

This original painting has been painted with the highest quality artists oil paints on primed canvas. It will be shipped flat and unframed. I would love to give you framing suggestions if needed.

The peony series features thick distinctive brushwork to accentuate the form of the flowers. I have uploaded detailed images showing the brushwork up close, but I can assure you it looks even better in person.
