This vibrant gestural intuitive large mixed media painting depicts the red of my peonies and has a very strong presence on the wall, expressive and bold.

Please have a look at the texture of the work."Pentecost" I painted after having bought some peonies and had admired the very dark red.

An immodest flower that opens up in a way as if it says: Look at me!

The sides are painted white. The work is sealed with a silky varnish.

The painting is ready to hang with picture wire between two folding eyelet/pointed hangers. Please have a look at the detail photographs.

For less expensive shipping I offer to take the canvas off the stretchers and roll it up to be send in a tube.
