As the whippet is my favourite breed of dog (my first dog was a whippet and I have always had them ever since), I find they beg to be painted in vibrant colours. These dogs make even the darkest day bright, and so I found myself painting this Pensive Whippet on a rainy Tuesday afternoon. The result was an instant mood lifter, and I hope it does the same to anyone who sees it.
