I love white butterflies, the ones that announce spring and come all together to land on the flowers. But in this painting, it is the gaze of the portrayed woman that gives the idea of this nostalgia, of being summarized in her thoughts, and symbolically, the butterflies surround her. As a symbol, the butterfly speaks of freedom, but also of fragility, and of love and transformation from dragonfly to butterfly. A lost look, as if calmly searching for an answer, or simply waiting. It is a very special work for me, since I have lived moments in which I have felt as if I wanted to fly or daydream. On the back of the painting are the data of the same and the number of records of work, being a unique painting in its style, worked with palette knife and brush. To be a woman, to be free, to be beautiful and to be strong and delicate at the same time, to pursue all dreams, like a butterfly in the middle of spring.
