This painting also started as an idea in a notebook. When I had finished the face with the shock of white hair put me in mind of an ex Middlesborough FC player named Ravanelli, who was nicknamed Penna Bianca or "White Feather". It's a heavily textured piece - the lines scored with a kitchen fork. As is often the case a moon or sun features in the background. Painted on a box canvas, and ready to hang.
