Here is a new unique piece to add to my animal acrylic series.  I want to create artwork that appeals to both adults and children.

A captivating original piece of artwork giving an abstract feel to the painting. By using intense colours, I hope to have captured the essential elements of the picture. 

A celebration of shapes and contrasting colours.  This painting is of a penguin high up on the rocks looking down on a whale coming out of the water.  I wished to give the impression that the penguin is more powerful than the whale by being higher up on the rocks.

Ultimately, what I hope to create is the most stunningly beautiful, luminous, delicious colour combinations. I want to put colours together that fill your eyes with light; draw luscious, organic lines that make your mouth water, and create perfectly balanced compositions that feel like a light summer breeze flowing by.

Perfect for adding a statement piece to living spaces that may create a talking point with visitors.

Executed in good quality acrylic paints, painted on all sides, and finished with a glaze of gloss varnish to protect against sunlight and dust.  It just needs a nail or wall fitting to sit flush against the wall.

The painting is 22 x 18 inches in size and is on stretched canvas.

I am a painter, mostly in oils although I have begun to switch between oils and acrylics.

I love to paint, love colours, shapes’, and textures.  I love the idea that a different story can be read into each of my paintings and each viewer may interpret a story different to another.
