Penguin In A Snow Storm oil on canvas board 5x7_x000D_ _x000D_ _x000D_ I am always amazed that a penguin can navigate back to mother and chick after feeding dozens of miles away and then hear and recognise the chick from the thousands of other chicks calling. This painting is my amazement at this. I’m a London-based artist, and my work often reflects vivid and surreal imagery inspired by my unique experience with REM intrusion—a condition where dream-like visions can appear while I’m awake. My paintings explore the boundary between waking reality and the dream world, using layered compositions to create a sense of depth and movement. I paint with high-quality materials and put a lot of thought into texture and detail. My process is a mix of intuitive brushwork and deliberate layering, aiming to create pieces that are rich in emotion and invite you to see something new each time you look at them.
