I remember living in Tokyo for a while and how nice it was that in the very active shopping area Ginza they had a tradition to make the main avenue pedestrian every Sunday. One feels scared to put ones feet on the street at first but then it's such a nice feeling to completely relax and not feel the pressure of the traffic in the middle of this mega city.
In this painting I have chosen a very active crossroad in my hometowns city centre and converted it into a leisure spot for spa or bar lovers. You can also see the notable building in the middle of the art piece that reflects modernist architecture very typical to this area. Since it has such an original "crown" on the roof I had an idea to transform the building into a wave swinger.
