In this animal safari piece, I channel the untamed spirit of the wild warthog, which I photographed in the Okavango Delta, Botswana. I then mixed the image with urban graffiti and Khoisan rock art drawings using pens and spray paint. I chose a vivid magenta for the warthog to contrast with the tumultuous, brightly collaged background, symbolizing resilience amid chaos. The graffiti elements and animal silhouettes speak to the intersection of nature and human encroachment. It’s a vibrant, thought-provoking celebration of survival and identity in a rapidly changing world. This artwork is sure to infuse any space with dynamic energy and a splash of bold color.
