Original artwork description:

To depict this pear I used a blue board background. I think saturated ultramarine tone is perfectly harmonize with delicate yellow of pear. I took attention on details, thinly drew slightly bruised sites of fruit. Built up the form with overtone, shade and reflex in it. I applied thin fluid strokes, and depict the wood texture with its thin long lines of light and dark areas.
