I managed to get this beautiful image of this lovely Peacock Butterfly while out on a Devon walk. Blossom is so lovely at this time of year in the UK. Spring has truly arrived.

I set about making this piece in inks and acrylic. The focus is obviously on the butterfly and the dominate colours are here. Pastelized versions of the same colours are reflected in the blossom. The blue background while appearing pure in the photo is does actually have some sense of brush marks and an energy with in the sky blue colour. The edges of the shallow canvas are the same light blue.

It is designed to be hung as it is. But will look equally good in a frame.

This item is very easily posted and will be professionally wrapped up.
