Inspired by Japanese designs for fabrics I have created a series of prints using traditional motifs and subject matter.
This one is the peacock which is a symbol of love and benevolence is often found in paintings, drawings and designs.
This silkscreen is in three colours , the background design is seen on fabrics making up part of the design and is printed in silver.

Materials used:

Fabriano Rosapina printmaking paper 220gsm acid free, Acrylic paint and silkscreen medium
