“Peaceful Waters” is a 30"h x 24"w fresh bright minimal color-field oil painting from the Shimmer Series. With a vibrantly resonating color palette injected with accents of silver paint, it has an ethereal quality, like a shimmering oasis. Anchored at the base with deep rich saturated color, it radiates upwards to the light as if evaporating into the ether. To the place where the mind expands, where dreams are made, and where anything is possible.

The canvas is built up with many layers of glazes infused with flicks, drips and brushstrokes of paint resulting in a surface with a smooth satin finish. It’s soothing vibrant turquoise colors glow in natural light or a nicely lit room, and will also respond well to direct illumination with a spotlight.

Painted on a 1.5” gallery wrapped canvas with the edges painted white, it comes ready to hang and signed on the front.
