Original artwork description:

'Peace' is an original pencil and ink drawing on hand stained paper measuring 300mm x 390 mm in size. Within the piece as well as ink and pencil I have used stained and torn script from pages of books to add tiny details to find within the work. The small tale written into the drawing is my own writing...the words were running around in my head until I pinned them down in ink!.... "She came to live in the town with a young son and a basketful of cherries…which she gave to the gypsy at the gate…her home was built from oak leaves and small pieces of sparkling silver coins…she sewed by candlelight at night and sang with the birds in the morning..."...Please note that this work is almost A3 in size so I have had to photograph it as it's too big to fit onto my meagre scanner!...I've scanned sections in to get the detail and posted one photograph of it in its entirety....I do hope you get the gist :)
