Original artwork description:
I keep coming back to these colours which I love. The inspiration for the painting is the poppy Patty's Plum which I grow in my garden. At first sight it seems to be one colour but when you see it in the sunshine it has many different purples. This is the fourth one I've done, but they are all different - and original! This is on canvas and then mounted in a deep box frame but without the glass as the texture is quite tactile. Finished with a gloss varnish to protect against UV and dust. Ready to hang. Signed on the back.
