Idea of this painting has been waiting for me since my trip to Eilat Israel in 2017, where I discovered there's cats instead of pigeons on the streets of the city with regards to their amounts, living an okay life I must admit, since the climate is very mild and there's special cat food points along the beachside. There's constant action going on - cats sniffing for food from tourists sitting outside in restaurants, checking for fish on the seaside, fighting for some pray in the street bins. The one I painted was waiting for fisherman's catch, ready to jump in and help him out with any amounts of fish. It was so adorable.
