*This painting goes on exhibition for 7 days mid September* Inspired by a very long walk on a warm summer day, I tried to embrace the feeling of comfort seeing my home come into view...even if it isn't quite the impressive villa in this setting.
This one is my grandson's favourite. There is a copse of trees in the bottom left of the painting. It isn't obvious on first glance, but he spotted it as a potential football spot, using the trees as goalposts!!
One day, I will return to the places I treasure to paint similar scenes in reality. Until then, the verdant greens and bluish purples stay in my memory. The extensive sky and sunlit landscape on the canvas are there, waiting for me again. This painting is complete with bound edges but may be framed. Complete with certificate of authenticity.
