Landscape of Auvergne, France.

I envisioned this painting as an invitation to immerse oneself in the silent depth of a forest bathed in light. The dirt path winding through the undergrowth offers a fascinating perspective that captures attention and entices the viewer to explore the landscape further.

I aimed to capture the subtle play of light and shadows, how each sunbeam dances between the trunks and branches, along with the tactile presence of nature—the texture of moss covering the stones and the almost palpable scent of moist humus.

This large canvas creates an opening to a space both real and imaginary, a place of inner contemplation.

This artwork will be packaged rolled in a tube. Once stretched by a framer, the white finish of the sides of the canvas allows, if you wish, a hanging without a frame.
