Original artwork description:

What you see in this artwork is what I call “Dream Landscapes”, not an exact copy of a place, but the feeling that nature gives me when I see it live or through other artworks of art, such as paintings, surfing the Internet, listening to music. , etc., and then express it symbolically.
This artwork belongs to a new series called "Natural Flags". They are landscapes of more or less abstract shapes on a white background because they represent a dawn, a new way of seeing things, life.
It is inspired by a stone quarry where there is now a swimming pool. In the background, between the two flower pots, there is a ladder to go down to that pool. This quarry supplied stone to many neighboring people to make their houses. But more than about the quarry, this work speaks of that path that surely a long time ago people followed to enter the quarries and obtain stone to make the exterior and load-bearing walls to build their homes.
To the left of this path has been placed the lower part of a granite shaft, which although broken, indicates the importance of the bases, of the foundations, of that stone that emerges so that we can take it and turn it into the essential part of our homes.
Perhaps what this artwork wants to tell us is that in these natural materials, in the basics, in things like stone and water, is where what is important it is, and not so much in the artifices with which we sometimes like to surround ourselves, artifices that can sometimes be entertaining, hobbies, but also wastes of time to be in connection with those simple things that we have at our fingertips, on which we walk, that give us shelter, create our beds and furniture, frame our paintings, giving us warmth and nourishment of all kinds, material and spiritual, enriching us.
It has painted edges, it's not necessary frame but it´s recommended.

Materials used:
