Original artwork description:

Such a wonderful walk. Out of the village of Grasmere and past the very last house - Little Parrock. Up hills and past water falls following the line of the river Rothay and Easedale Beck and on to Sour Milk Gill.
We did this walk a few years ago - early spring - pink tones in the bracken left over from its winter colours and bright greens in the newly sprouting grass.
The painting is colourful and impressionistic and I have painted it using bold brushstrokes and inky splatters.
It is a large canvas and the painting covers the whole surface including the sides. It is ready to hang.
