The second in a series of paintings featuring my neighbour tending his orchard. Here he is using a rake to clear a path. Situated in a valley near west cliff Branscombe, showing the last light. The valley, trees and hedges are simply painted with texture. Tonal colour relationships create a feeling of calmness.
