Original artwork description:

I have climbed Pen-Y-Fan in Wales several times, a couple in the snow. This time, shortly after Christmas, the day was beautiful, with blue sky and sunshine on the snow. I was inspired to paint a picture and try to capture the shadows and feeling of space that snow makes me feel. Painted at home with photos as reference, although I did not copy the photos exactly - I use them as a starting point and adapt to suit what I am trying to capture.

Acrylic on stretched canvas, painted around the sides (not in as much detail) so can be hung without framing.

Ready to hang.

Shipped in a hand made cardboard box to fit exactly.
