In my life I often have tried to communicate my ideas clearly and sometimes it is more difficult to convey them than to explain them. In this painting the central theme is the difficulty of remaining intact. Each hole, on the wooden surface, is created by a hammer beating that gives space to another golden underlying plane.
The surfaces are in contrast with each other, highlighting the meaning of the picture that from a badly patched surface it is possible to glimpse a soul full of light.


Spesso nella vita ho cercato di comunicare in maniera chiara le mie idee e talvolta è più difficile trasmetterle che spiegarle. In questo dipinto il tema centrale è la difficoltà di rimanere integro. Ogni foro, sulla superficie lignea, è creato da un colpo di martello che da spazio ad un'altro piano sottostante dorato.
Le superfici sono in contrasto tra loro, evidenziando il significato del quadro che da una superficie malamente rattoppata è possibile intravedere un'anima piena di luce.
