Original artwork description:

A studio painting created based on a photograph I took this year near my hometown, while picking up freshly grown vegetables with my boyfriend. This is a scenery I see quite often because this is actually where my boyfriend's grandmother lives. I always get insane amounts of fresh organic vegetables from her, along with homemade bread and sometimes some of her desserts made with her apples and walnuts.

She and this place both mean a lot to me so I painted this scene wholeheartedly and with a lot of respect.

I hope the painting will mean as much to you as it does to me.


Painted on a pastel board, meaning the pastels do not smudge nearly as much as on regular pastel papers and can be easily safely shipped.

Pastelmat sanded paper, Schmincke and Unison soft pastels
