Original artwork description:

Lovers in a serene pastoral setting with Venus and a Crescent Moon hanging low in the sky to the left of the large tree. The pale moonlit landscape opens out behind the lovers.
I've deliberately maintained a cool palette but added a touch of Burnt Sienna here and there to add a tiny bit of colour. The colour of the paper makes up the background and sky colour.

Painted on three A6 sheets of teal *Khadi paper which fit together to make one long format image.

I've had this painting framed professionally in a custom-made, pale wood stainedframe, with an acid-free white mount board (black core; see close-up photos) with three 'windows.'
