Sculpture on hand-worked leccese stone, designed and created by the artist Andrea Serra. The sculpture "passion of the senses" evokes a poetic and sensory image, in which soft forms represent the fluidity of thoughts and emotions. This passion of the senses seems to recall an intense experience.
The work of this work is entirely made by hand on this stone that is found only in very few areas of southern Italy, that is in the lower Salento in the province of Lecce. This particular stone of marine origin, rich in plant and animal fossils dating back to about twenty million years ago (such as shells, marine plants and shark teeth), makes it suitable for the processing of details. The fossils are visible on the surface of the work and make it even more unique and fascinating.
The sculpture "Passion of the senses" as every work by Andrea Serra, being hand-carved, is unique and signed in engraving by the artist.
