Ink painting portrayed woman in motion. Inspired by fashion photographs. In traditional Japanese sumi-e ink wash painting technique with Chinese inks on archival paper. In expressionism style.
Ink paintings by Alex Solodov are mostly the portraits. They are photo based images but in process of painting they are transformed into surreal images of “invaders” which can exist only between dream and reality.
