A misty day on the East side of Sanday in Orkney as a small yacht drift Eastwards on a light Southerly breeze. It's destination perhaps the Fair Isle, Shetland or more ambitiously Norway. The painting is done in a mixture of acrylic paint, spray and ink with charcoal on a heavy water colour paper.
