The title, "Passe Fifth Eno", is the ballet term for the position she holds. Taking the challenge of painting a "white on white" work, was something I wanted to try for some time. Stretching and pushing is the best way to grow as an artist. The final work is delicate, light and subtle. I'm very pleased with the outcome. Over 30 years ago I was principle male dancer for Spartanburg Civic Ballet. This painting brought back great memories while I painted her. I continued to enjoy it as it cured in my studio. Fully cured now, she is ready to grace that special place for you.
