This painting is inspired from a typical Malaysian scene. The outdoor night market is an enduring part of the fabric of Malaysian life. Here the subject, the market scene with lit up parasols, smoke from cooking food et all, is engulfed in an abstract deep night sky.
The close up pictures are to get a better feel for the texture and brush strokes of the painting. Then there’s me with the painting for perspective.
