The bits and pieces of my day-to-day coincide with one another, sometimes bumping into each other less gracefully than I had hoped. Sometimes, I run late, rarely do I run early. I try to be on time, but often, I trip over last-minute details, that don’t even occur to me until the actual moment that I’m supposed to be leaving the house; or arriving somewhere; or calling someone; or doing something important. Such last-minute events spring to life, and are the parameters of my existence.
