'Partridge in the Grass' is a lino and screen printed work. Red Legged Partridge are a red list species. They live around us high in the north Pennines farmland. Like many other ground nesting birds they have to get their young away before hay timing or silage making. This year the pair near us had six chicks which all made it to end of autumn. This is one of a limited edition of 30. The prints are printed by hand which means that each print is subtly different.

Printed on 300 grm paper in water based and oil based inks and mounted in Ice White. For buyers in the UK my prints are all mounted ready to drop into standard size, readily available frames. This particular print fits a 50x50 frame from Habitat. This frame was available online for £35 when I last checked. Search Habitat dark birch 50x50 picture frame. The aim is to make it easy for you to get the picture on your wall and to keep the costs of buying and displaying original artworks as low as possible. The prints are packaged in cellophane, bubble wrap and protected by a reinforced cardboard envelope. Outside the UK postage costs make it too expensive to send large mounted prints so the 50x50 prints are delivered rolled in a tube.
