Parc des Buttes-Chaumont is a public garden located in the northeast of Paris , France in the 19th arrondissement. It was inaugurated in 1867 and is one of the largest green spaces in Paris.
When I lived in Paris it was one of my favourite parks to escape the hustle and bustle of the city and to relax.
The oil painting is from one of my favourite features of the park : a view of the temple of the Sybille on a rocky island outcrop. The painting is on canvasboard (canvas attached to a rigid board), and is unframed. It has been left for a suitable amount of time before being varnished.

Oil paints (Rembrandt, Old Holland, Winsor & Newton, Gamblin, lefranc & bourgeois)
