Original artwork description:

This mixed media collage is part of my series 'Not what it seems' which feature impossible shapes painted in smooth matte acrylic with crisp sharp edges on 300gsm watercolour paper. The whole piece was then carefully cut out and adhered to larger watercolour paper that has a deckled edge, with the slight raised appearance adding more depth.
Vintage magazines from the 1950's were my main source for finding just the right imagery and a further opportunity to play with perspective. The colour palette was equally important in my choices for the arrangement to feel cohesive with the contrast in activity and colour being true to the surreal vibes of much of my work.
Paradox Land feels like a fun summery place to hang out and is sure to be a talking point with your guests.

Other works in this series at George Gallery in Brighton have been float mounted which further enhances the piece and shows off the deckled paper edge so this is what I would recommend you have your framer do which gives you the choice of frame colour and style to suit your interior.
You can see an example in my 'me at work' section.

Receive this piece packaged carefully in tissue sandwiched in many layers of A1 size double wall cardboard with corners protected before going into a sturdy cardboard box measuring 90 x 60 x 4cm
This will be sent with tracking and will need to be signed for.

If you're outside of the UK and are interested in a price for shipping please get in touch.
