Inspired by my own personal awe of the natural world this painting depicts a female figure delighting in her discovery of planet earth and all the wonders it has to offer. Surrounded by lush greenery it is a world of innocent beginnings. The labyrinth above her head suggests a spiritual journey leading to a central point of simple oneness with herself and her surroundings.
