On my mantlepiece I have a small vase in which a handful of dried roses sit. I look at them daily as although it's several years since they were buds and fully opened flowers, they still retain such a beauty. This little painting is inspired by them.
The canvas board was first covered with crinkled paper and given a thin wash of acrylic bronze. Once dry the oil paint was applied. The crinkles provide a little texture and added interest to the painting.
I ship internationally using an insured, tracked and 'sign for' service. Should you wish to purchase more than one painting of this size or smaller at the same time I will be happy to combine postage costs. Message me for details.
