Original artwork description:

This graphic still life made using ink pen on paper. A crumpled sheet of thin paper inserted in the old style transparent glass. I was inspired by an interesting effect, how a piece of inanimate paper becomes 'alive' like some kind of exotic plant in the quaint glass. Plenty creases and wrinkles of the paper form an intricate pattern lights and shadows. And of course, the glass itself is a gorgeous art-object. I bought it in the abbey shop near Stuttgart, the unique handmade glass produced by monks became a true adornment of my home.
