A scenic view of the Pap of Glencoe an iconic peak over looking Loch Leven on the west coast highlands of Scotland near to the village of Ballachulish, In this impressionist view I have tried to capture the mood, tranquillity and atmospheric light of the hills and mountains reflected in the calm water of the sea loch in this wild and remote area of the British Isles in autumn with a cloudy sky.
Painted in muted autumnal ochre colours and a touch of bright green and yellow in the foreground, in a modern contemporary semi abstract impressionist style.

Painted using quality artists acrylics on a small square format 8" x 8" (20 x 20cm) canvas, with a varnish finish and white wooden frame with cord ready to hang.
