Original artwork description:

The theme of the image is the general danger of nuclear war. The image of Pandora herself is a modern girl wearing plutonium and uranium gloves and holding a box over her head. This is a state of waiting for danger, suspense. In the background, the barely visible silhouettes of birds are a symbol that refers to Hitchcock's film The Birds, where danger is conveyed in the image of birds that become a global threat to humanity. Hitchcock shot this film during the Cuban Missile Crisis, so he reflected on the topic of a global catastrophe in this form. Also, the tattoo on this girl is a meaningful allusion to the ancient tribes of the Picts or other tribes that did not know civilisation. In this way, I draw a parallel that, like the Picts, who lived after the fall of the Roman Empire, we know little about how to direct the gains of society and science. Instead of solving humanity's problems, we direct our scientific potential towards the creation of weapons, which poses a threat of their use.
